SBS
latex is liquid SBS latex modifier that is prepared by using special
technology, emulsification and using water as medium, is used for SBS modified
emulsified asphalt, SBS modified asphalt, foamed SBS modified asphalt,
simplifies production process, reduces equipment construction investment, saves
energy and consumption, and decreases the cost greatly by comparing with solid
SBS.
1. Having good compatibility with normal emulsified asphalt and convenient use
SBS
latex has completely same use method as SBR latex, improves high temperature
performance of emulsified asphalt obviously by comparing with SBR latex, has
good low temperature performance, and has wider application range.

Using for producing modified asphalt directly, and modified asphalt production
technology is simple and convenient.
Modified
asphalt can be produced by using heated mixing tank, grinding and cutting
aren’t necessary. Heat base asphalt to 160-165℃ and keep constant temperature, add SBS
latex slowly under mixing, after finishing adding and mixing for 30 min, when
there isn’t air bubble, add stabilizer to mix and develop for 2 hours. It
reduces asphalt aging, and saves energy and consumption.

Realizing modification and foaming of asphalt at the same time when producing
foamed modified asphalt.
Use
SBS latex as foaming agent, obtain asphalt foamed modified asphalt while
foaming, saves energy, reduce emission, and improve road use performance of
high foamed asphalt.
Performance Advantages
Improve
high temperature stability, low temperature shrinkage crack resistance
capacity, early strength, adhesive strength and water striping resistance of
adhesive material, increase fatigue resistance of mixing material and prolong
road surface.
Application
SBS
latex can be added into emulsified asphalt, modified asphalt and slurry seal to
enhance its strength.
Usage
and Dosage
1.Directly add to emulsified asphalt,
stirred uniformly.
2.Add to liquid soap, grinding with
emulsified asphalt at the same time.
3.According to the technical index, the
best dosage is 2~5%.
